Allow Cathy, and others, to enter and check policies

Inconsistencies and consequences must be easy to check

Policies and consequences must be explicable

Semantic email addressing should cover wide range of conditions

Policies include notification, task assignment, and authorization policies

An assistant is any of her Ph.D. students who has passed qualifying exams, and
An assistant should be notified if she does not answer an email from the Dean within one week, and
An assistant may modify course plans.
The least senior assistant should perform all tasks.
