To be eligible for the course, teachers:

  • Must be teaching students in grades 9, 10, 11, or 12.
  • Must be approved to teach a semester-long Logic course or to incorporate Logic into your class syllabus.
  • Must be able to define the plan for how you'll be teach Logic.
  • Must bring a laptop or tablet running a recent version of Safari, Chrome, or Firefox.

Tuition for five days of training is $750. Tuition includes course materials, lunch, and special events. Laptops or tablets are required but are not provided.

Financial Aid

Limited financial aid is available and is awarded based on the need of the teacher who would not otherwise be able to attend Stanford's Intrologic teacher training. Teachers interested in availing themselves of our tuition abatement program should include in their essays their plans to incorporate logic into their teaching at their high schools and verify the unavailability of funding from their school districts. Financial aid decisions will be announced by April 30, 2019.

Admission to this training program is on a rolling basis with a cap of 24 teachers. Though we've established May 31 as the cutoff date for enrolling, you should know that we'll review applications as soon as they are filed and will continue our review until we fill all the available places. That's why we encourage you to apply early and lessen the chance of being waitlisted. If you are ready to do so, visit our application page.
